”Busy with school? Is it going well at school?” He tilted his head; since he wasn’t in school anymore, he was always happy to hear about it from the other. ” I— I am okay..” He pursed his lips a bit and shrugged; ”How about you?”
“We’re halfway towards the finals week so it is hectic.” Hillary smiled at the male who apparently looked cuter when tilting his head. “There seems to be hesitation in your voice, but I could be wrong. If not, you can talk to me about anything, Seungjin. Just so you know.”
”Yes!!” He blinked quickly and bounced on his feet. ”I thought— I thought you disappeared like everyone else!” He smiled widely;
“I’m glad you do.” Hillary smiled, pleased. “And I wouldn’t disappear without a word, Seungjin. It just happen that I got busy with school. So, how are you?”
He took the pill box you handed him, once again staring at it with large eyes; for many people kleenex and pills weren’t much, but that meant a lot of him. Seungjin looked up at you with a large smile hanging on his lips. ”Whoa! Thank you~!”
His widened eyes made Hillary stare a little bit more than usual before another grin brightened up her usual stoic face. “You’re very much welcome. So, be careful and take extra care of yourself, okay? It’s not all the time someone watches over you… even if you think there’s one.”
When he was done, he turned back to look at you, lips slightly pursed. ”I don’t have vitamns… but I drink water and I wash my hands and I don’t remember meeting sick people…” He shrugged his shoulders. ”I think i’m bad with cold weather. ” He chuckled lively.
Hillary nodded while attentively listening back to the young male, her smile never fading while doing so, and she almost had herself chuckle as well when Seungjin chuckled upon mentioning the current climate.“Mmh, that surely is true for almost half of the population. Here take this.” Hillary offered a pill box that contains some multi-vitamins and pain reliever meds dug out from her purse. “I always bring extra with me, so I’ll give this to you.”
”Ah— What kind of precautions?” He tilted his head and took the pad of kleenex, looking at it with large eyes. ”Thank you!” He turned around, shyly blowing his nose in a kleenex.
“Taking vitamins, drinking lots of fluid, always washing your hands, and staying away from sick people.” Hillary’s brows slanted down in concern, but kept a small smile on her lips. “You’re welcome, Seungjin. You seemed so fragile, I see.”
”I—I’m sick again!” He sneezed and rubbed his nose with his sleeve, pout appearing on his lips.
“You should take extra precautions so you won’t get sick.” Hilary sighed, offering the young male with a pad of unopened kleenex. “Here, take this.”
He felt a bit shy because of your reaction; he pressed his lips together, shaking his head slowly. Such activities never been in his parents’ schedules, always to busy to work to have enough money to pay their rent. He looked up at you, smile slowly coming back to his lips. ”I don’t mind! Since I told you we should hang out, this mean that I want to~ I have nothing to do, i’m all free!” He nodded his head quickly.
“Seungjin, are you okay? I’m sorry for asking you again.” Hillary managed to say with her brows slanted down, anxious of his reaction to her clarification. After that, she sighed just as lightly before deciding to slowly part her lips to grin and nod like he did. “Good! good! I’m paying for our cab fare.” She offered. “But would you like to eat first before going?”
His eyes grew larger when you talked about the art gallery; he started bouncing a bit on his heels happily. ”You’re not boring, don’t worry! But… I’ve never visited an art gallery in my life! That sounds very interesting!” He pressed his two hands together just as if he was about to clap them together.
“You –.” Hillary blinked a couple of times. “You’ve never been in an art gallery? Well, if that’s the case then we should go and visit one of my favorite places. It’s only a 30-minute drive.” She offered with a bright smile. “You don’t mind spending at least two hours of your precious time visiting the place right? Or do you have appointments later?”
After the hug, he moved away slowly, looking at you with a warm smile — eyes turning into crescents. His hands reached to tug on his sweater, a bit shyly. ”Maybe we should find an activity to spend time together?” He tilted his head as he looked at you, wondering if you would accept. ”I think it’s hard to find things to do in winter, though. It’s cold outside. I can’t wait for spring.”
“Should we?” Hillary curiously asked in a light tone to ascertain his offer, composing herself by fixing her coat just occasionally while her eyes fixated on admiring his eye smile. “That sounds good, actually. Thank you for opening it up. I have to warn you though, I’m not fun to be with. I mostly spend my time with books. How about we visit an art gallery?” She sighed. “And you’re right about winter activities. There’s not much that I know of. There’s skiing, but it’ll be a long trip going to and from here.”
